About the role
A large share of our work is delivered under EU grants, often in consortia with grid operators, research institutes and public bodies. Grant rules are strict and audits are thorough. This role sits in our Programme Management Office and keeps that work compliant from grant preparation to final payment. You maintain budgets and cost claims, prepare periodic reports in the Funding & Tenders Portal and advise delivery teams on eligible costs. You work with project leads, finance and consortium partners.
What you will do
- Prepare budgets and the administrative parts of proposals for Digital Europe, CEF and Horizon Europe calls
- Set up and monitor timesheets, cost tracking and eligibility checks for running grants
- Compile periodic financial reports and certificates on financial statements
- Coordinate consortium partners on reporting deadlines, amendments and deliverables
- Prepare for and support EU and national audits
What you bring
- 5+ years managing EU-funded projects, ideally including Horizon 2020 or Horizon Europe
- Detailed knowledge of the EU Model Grant Agreement and the Funding & Tenders Portal
- Experience with lump-sum and actual-cost funding models
- Strong spreadsheet and documentation skills
- English at C1; German an advantage for national programmes
Good to have
- Experience with RRF-funded national programmes or Interreg
- PM² or Prince2 certification
