About the role

Companies reporting under the CSRD need ESRS disclosures that an auditor can trace back to source systems. In practice the data sits in ERP, energy management, fleet and HR systems, often in spreadsheets in between. This role builds the pipelines and models that bring it together. You design data models for ESRS E1 climate disclosures and EU taxonomy KPIs, automate collection and build checks that support limited assurance. You work with sustainability consultants, client finance teams and our platform engineers.

What you will do

  • Model emissions, energy and taxonomy data for ESRS E1 and EU taxonomy reporting
  • Build ingestion from SAP, energy management systems and supplier data sources
  • Implement Scope 1, 2 and 3 calculation logic in line with the GHG Protocol
  • Create audit trails, data quality rules and documentation for assurance providers
  • Prepare structured outputs for ESEF/iXBRL tagging

What you bring

  • 3+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering
  • Strong SQL and Python; experience with dbt or a comparable transformation framework
  • Working knowledge of the GHG Protocol and CSRD/ESRS reporting requirements
  • Experience extracting data from ERP systems, ideally SAP
  • Careful approach to documentation and reproducibility

Good to have

  • Experience with SAP Sustainability Control Tower or a similar tool
  • Knowledge of the EU taxonomy technical screening criteria
