Scope
Public bodies and critical infrastructure operators in Germany increasingly require workloads to run in sovereign cloud regions under German or EU jurisdiction. Our Cloud & Platforms team designs and runs the platforms those workloads depend on. You build landing zones, cluster baselines and deployment pipelines that application teams can use without opening tickets. You work with our data engineers, security consultants and client operations teams, and you help keep platforms within BSI C5 and NIS2 expectations.
Tasks
- Provision Kubernetes clusters and supporting services on STACKIT, IONOS Cloud and Azure with Terraform
- Maintain GitOps delivery with Argo CD or Flux and a clear promotion path between environments
- Run observability with Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry, including on-call for client platforms
- Implement policy as code, secret management and network policies in line with BSI C5 controls
- Document platform decisions and onboard application teams
Required
- 3+ years running Kubernetes in production
- Solid Terraform experience, including module design and state management
- Linux and networking fundamentals: DNS, TLS, load balancing, routing
- Experience with at least one public cloud; German sovereign providers an advantage
- Scripting in Go, Python or Bash
Additional
- CKA or CKS certification
- Experience with OpenStack-based clouds
- Familiarity with Sovereign Cloud Stack (SCS)

English (C1), German (B1) an advantage
